At Space WK, we believe that architecture and design has the power to elevate the everyday.

Together, our team brings over 60 years of combined experience across architecture, interior design, project management, finance, and investment.

We seek out properties that have fallen out of use, homes that no longer serve the needs of contemporary living and approach them with the same care and precision we bring to our architectural work. Through considered interventions, we reimagine these spaces as places that support life, foster connection, and feel intuitively right to inhabit.

Our background across architecture, interior design, and development allows us to approach each project holistically. We design from first principles. Guided by light, proportion, and spatial clarity, with the belief that good design is not a matter of materials, but of intent. It is not a luxury, but a responsibility.

We are personally involved in every stage of each project, from acquisition through to completion. We work with integrity and discretion, with sellers, collaborators, and future residents always seeking outcomes that are fair, timely, and thoughtful.

Above all, we are committed to creating homes that are generous in spirit and grounded in reality. Homes that not only meet the needs of modern life, but quietly enrich it.

Client Testimony

“The site offered an incredible opportunity and Wilkinson King completely understood and expertly communicated our vision, creating a modern, highly efficient, and sustainable home using beautiful natural materials. Looking out, the house feels as if it were rooted in the landscape. Perfectly positioned to capture the best of the light and views, wherever you are inside, there is constant connectivity to the outdoors and the changing colours of the seasons. Every day feels special here.”

“I fell in love with the house the first time we set foot in here, signed contracts in under a fortnight and have loved every moment of our time here.

We have been blown away by the very clever design and the acoustic is as good as any concert hall.  This has been a huge joy for both of us.  The shadows, the privacy, the expanse of nature and the clever way each room enjoys complete privacy without encroaching on the neighbouring properties.

We would be delighted should you wish to visit here and we would then be able to express our endless enthusiasm for the architecture and your combined cleverness in achieving this triumph.

Thank you for the many happy days.”

“The house is more than we could have expected it to be.  Winning architectural awards demonstrates how the house is being seen as a success but for us living in the house is better than our expectations; the house works perfectly for us. We are spending much more time in Sussex than we had planned.

The views from the house and garden are stunning and seeing out from various points such as the upper floors through the double height area is a delight each day.

We absolutely love our garden, designed by Landscape Architect Andy Sturgeon, the way it connects to both the house and the landscape beyond is a triumph.  We are looking forward to how it will mature over the years.”
